Toddlerhood Milestones
During a toddler’s social and emotional development, the following milestones may occur:
12 to 18 months: Toddlers show affection toward familiar people and may have tantrums when upset or frustrated.
18 to 24 months: They begin to include peers in play and use simple words to express their feelings.
24 to 36 months: Toddlers learn to take turns during play, begin to verbalize toilet needs, and may achieve daytime toilet training.
